[Dxspider-support] windows spider install

To upgrade to the latest PERL version, do we just run the EXE file and it
will install over the current installed version? Or is there a specific
procedure to follow? Thanks for the help.

I understand that you are using an activestate 5.6.1 perl. You will be
*much* better off using the latest 5.8.8 build (er.. 819?) and the
version of ppm that that build uses. It also gives you the opportunity
to try the gtkconsole...
